4 ponzi awards this week – (en)

Paraphrasing Marshall Bruce Mathers III, better known by his stage name Eminem and by his alter ego Slim Shady: Fame hit me this week like a ton of bricks! …
MemyselfandelaooooFay Moore
Or awards in my case… four in a row, some repeated, but hey, nobody is ferpect. You know, I’ll save the part of the deep gratitude to those that have selected me. They, I believe, know that already. And just a couple of lines more and I’m cutting the crap… Fame is a vapor, popularity an accident, and riches take wings. Only one thing endures and that is character, so please give me a break! I have a family to feed and scarce time for this Ponzi blogoscheme. Thank you!
…Thank the person who nominates you and link back to them in your posts (linked on the award picture):
…Share seven things about yourself.
…Pass the award on to five or more bloggers that you enjoy.
…Contact the people you have nominated.
…I have dedicated my last 15 years to working plus another 18 or so, so I know (but I still learn so much about!!! ) the value of human disconnecting and bad feelings, yeah! I was married twice. I have a passion for everything that means communication – so I learned several foreign languages in the past 30 years.
…I love pottery. Pottery was and will always be the core of my soul.
…Love is a religion and I believe in no good.
…I cannot live without music, but I really try.
…I love all forms of art, in my spare time I do enjoy Trailer Park Boys.
…I grew up close to animals, my family, and I always escape of my roots.
…I’m not Romanian, I’m not Algerian, I’m not German, I’m not Italian, I’m not Serbian, I’m not Macedonian, I am Spanish, I’m not Indian, sorry for my French, I’m not Greek, I’m not British, I am all that I love and all that I speak and my heart stays in every corner of South Park that I have ever seen on TV.
And now my nominations… It was so easy to choose them! I think the nominees are keeping up the incommensurable value of communication and freedom, sharing ideas and experiences to better the world we live in, y Ole!
Note you are being nominated for 3 different awards, so you have to multiply the job by three…

4 ponzi awards this week – Ela… & Dugutigui

Acerca de Dugutigui

In the “Diula” language in Mali, the term « dugutigui » (chief of the village), literally translated, means: «owner of the village»; «dugu» means village and «tigui», owner. Probably the term is the result of the contraction of «dugu kuntigui» (literally: chief of the village).

  1. Congratulations. Four smileys for you 😀 😀 😀 😀

  2. By the way D, I re-read your blog and was amused at how you italicized the word ferpect. This reminds me of the film Crimen Ferpecto. It was dark humored and morbidly hilarious I just had to watch it twice!

    • Dugutigui dijo:

From time to time, today better, from time toooo time, Spanish cinema produce a jewel. One of those rare gems is the black comedy you mention, which I enjoy vey much. And yes here in my house when we come for lunch, if we came, we use this term in Spanish frequently. I just translate it to English, something easy in this case due the similarity of the adjectives in both languages.
Coming back to cinema, I like very much Korea and HK movies and practically I only watch Asian movies for several years, but Crimen Ferpecto has been one of those rare and glorious exceptions. I published some cinema posts in this blog, and I believe you could find some great films to spend the night digging on them… 🙂

      • Quite the contrary, I have enjoyed Japanese (old ones and the satirical ones like Taxmen) and Chinese films (not the karate chop- sensei screaming type though), Italian, Brazilian and Spanish films. A smattering of the French and Indian films although my all time favorite is Giuseppe Tornatore’s ‘Cinema Paradiso’ primarily because of its hauntingly beautiful soundtrack by Enrico Morricone I cried long after the movie ended. (Now you know I’m a cry baby – but only in cinemas)

      • Dugutigui dijo:

Well, two soul mates … cinematically 🙂
and with the exception of the Italian drama I left behind long ago. Despite that the sound track of old spaghetti westerns as The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, also by Ennio Morricone, will bring a smile to my face every time I hear them playing, as part of a time not better but younger…

      • Eew, I slipped in Morricone’s nome. I think that’s what happens when one gets only 2 1/2 hours of sleep. Thanks for helping me remember. Unlike you, I’m not done with my love affair with things Italian, language in particular, not the dirty ones though, ha ha. I know I’ll outgrow this some day and move on to worthier pursuits like commenting on other people’s blogs or turning down Ponzi blog award nominations, ha ha.

  3. Hahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa……….. I sware to God that I have spent at least 10 minutes laughing with tears and I am still laughing…. Hahahahaha…. What a picture… a Chinese general covered in medals…. and the words are ferpect also…. Hahahaha… and you lazy super smart cat nominated each blogger for 3 awards!!!! …. Hahahahaha…. you are good!!!!! … Hahahaha….It was really really really worth nominating you!!!!!
Love ya D., keep on blogging.
    Ela. 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
PS: here is the non-Ponzi prize… Enjoy!!! 😉

  4. Dugutigui dijo:

The lazy cat… just pass the hot potato you passed to me before…
With some nuances: some of the people I nominated (the serious ones) are really worth to be visited… not like the ones you nominated -speaking about me exclusively 🙂
Nice fractal, especially when Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds is playing smoothly in the headsets… as it does now… 🙂

    • Dugutigui dijo:

I’ve been looking again at the photo of the chin chan chon … hahahahahahahaaaaaaaa … and I’m splitting my pectus now… you right… hahahahaaaa… what a shit! I can’t stop… hahahahahahaaahahhaa. This fucking blogging is getting me off my chum… hahahaha…

      • Come on D., you know I am just joking , I would never offend you. I like you when you are rough and when you are funny… you are authentic, alive, sincere, sarcastic, beautiful…
I completely admire your head and heart so do not take the bad part of my comments into consideration… but I really laughed like a child, sincerely …. 🙂
😀 I know you like Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds… hypnotic thing… I have a slight idea about it… how about this?

or maybe this, this is absolutely gorgeous

        Have a great afternoon!!!! 😉

      • Dugutigui dijo:

A very nice song… what you mean?
And it is true, I was looking at the picture again and was laughing without control, probably because it was 1 AM and I was very tired, but genuine… 🙂 after that I went to sleep…

      • Dugutigui dijo:

This sunny morning I feel more festive, I am with Bob…

Singin’: “Don’t worry ‘bout a thing,
‘Cause every little thing gonna be all right.”
Singin’: “Don’t worry (don’t worry) ‘bout a thing,
‘Cause every little thing gonna be all right!”

A great day for you tooo 🙂

      • 😀 Good to know that you are ok…. 🙂 😉
Yes, the picture was fabulous and you managed to arange it just beautifully…
Yeah, I have been laughing too… It’s a healthy thing to do in this crazy world…
        And yeah, don’t worry about a thing… Hakuna Matata…. 😀 😀 😀

      • Dugutigui dijo:

The rest of my days could be an extremely lengthy period not to worry … 🙂 but thanks for the best whishes. At least I’m not worried long ago… which is already something, due the circumstances…
And yes Marley is a constant in my musical taste… the brilliant and evocative music he gave the world that still remains timeless and universal. He was for me one of the most charismatic and challenging performers of our time…

      • 🙂 I love Marley too… 😉
You see D., the Ponzi thing (called in my native language a pyramidal scheme) had an utility too… It has got people like you and me interconnected, exchanging ideas, talking… a very positive thing….
I am happy sincerely to know that you succeded in life, some things -big or small- might still be missing there, but you made it… to compare I’m still fighting, every day… I have started my life from scrap several times, I trust myself, I count only on God and myself, not a boss, not a system, not connections … I chose to see life from a different prospective( not being confortable numb): less pragmatical, more sentimental but very rewarding in many ways, some unspoken 🙂
Life was fair to me also, not for my merit, but because I was very loved and helped in my most dark hours… When I think about life I think of God and I know my existance was not an accident…. I cannot ask for more, I am more than blessed, I am even spoiled in some aspects of my life, that’s why I have never lost my childish enthusiasm and my fearless approach when it comes to people… 🙂

      • Dugutigui dijo:

There she goes with the pieces from my heart
There she goes and now my teardrops start
And `ere I go once again
Tru deese loonely `eartaches and pain
        That`s all remain all remain
Now I know love is a guessin` game
She goes with the pieces from my heart
There she goes and now my teardrops start
Who`s gonna put back the pieces to my broken heart
Once again once again now I know this could be the end
And she gone with the pieces of my heart
There she goes and now my teardrops start
And here I go once again
Tru deese loonely `eartaches and pains
        That`s all remain
Now I know this could be the end
She goes wid de pieces from my `eart
There she goes and now my teardrops start

I like your positive review of a pyramidal scheme, frankly speaking you are probably right. On other hand like it or not, I got the job done… so here we are.

Succeeding in life is a vaporous state of mind, as life itself, today is here tomorrow is gone… but some constants must be maintained at all costs, in my case my children … with them near or far, but always close, the rest is unimportant and it is relatively easy to handle … What is clear is that it is too hard to fight alone and some nose-miners around giving you hard time make you see things from another perspective. That is why, and for no other reason, I consider myself fortunate. Everything else is nothing but an extra.

For the rest you already know my opinion and for the people, well, the people… I’m not interested in people; just in a handful of persons… the rest could go to hell. Yes I’m quite a sociopath, but I can’t stand so much stupidity … not because I’m better, but because I consider myself different…

      • be different, that is being beautiful. 😉

      • Dugutigui dijo:

Eric Tabarly, an outstanding sailor of the high seas, his face says everything… you brought back to me my passion for the sea as a former sailing Mediterranean sailor myself… sometimes I do think you know more about myself than … myself …. a strange feeling 🙂

      • You make me smile D. … 🙂
It’s impossible for someone like me to know MORE about you than yourself, you are the keeper of all your experiences and knowledge and it would take a clairvoyant or a saint to know more than yourself…. that would be indeed a shocking experience for a logical mind like yours… I am not a clairvoyant, and I’m far from being a saint….I am only a sensitive soul that sometimes “accidentally” sees the truth about people but still loves them….
Sometimes a complete stranger sees from the outside things that someone cannot see about himself (because the person cannot accept them, or because the person is in a state of denial…)
Though I was born under the sign of logic and I did not believe in many things in my youth, I’ve learned that the human soul is a most intriguing and vast horizon … but my knowledge is almost nothing… thus I thirst for knowledge every day…
Yourself and myself…. sometimes kindred spirits recognize themselves… 😀

      • I have my own mesmerizing and almost deadly experience with the sea, I could have ended my adventure just like Tabarly… The sea is such a beautiful wild moody creature that indulges us but takes her toll when you less expect it… I will never forget the feeling of an endless force surrounding my being and pulling me under…. once it gets you under, there is almost no escape from it….

      • Dugutigui dijo:

Nothing in the world is more flexible and yielding than water. Yet when it attacks the firm and the strong, none can withstand it, because they have no way to change it. So the flexible overcome the adamant, the yielding overcome the forceful. Everyone knows this, but no one can do it.

      • Be flexible like grass and let stupid comments flow by your side, let them flow away… Responding makes no sense…. Whoever was born like that and enjoys laughing of others will not change, it takes real shocks and miracles to change such people… but that is not your job… 😉

      • Dugutigui dijo:

What stupid comments? This guy has a firm grasp of the obvious! 🙂
You know… Japanese naval officers in dress whites are frequent guests at Pearl Harbor’s officers’ mess and are very polite. They always were. Except, of course, for that little interval there between 1941 and 1945 🙂
Some cause happiness wherever they go; others, whenever they go.

      • What the hell is reality??? 🙂
We have shared an imaginary award as a sign of appreciation and for the sake of communication… We have even made jokes about the Ponzi scheme and it was commonly accepted that it is an inexistent – worthless – second hand – bullshit – boring – new fashion so called award that makes us lose our time and has not even a beautiful girl bringing a prize or a car , with no champagne, with no article in newspapers,no official dinner, no congratulations from the president, no reason to call home and no heart to win… damn….
But hey, not all prizes are the same… some have emotional or intelectual or blogospheric value? …….Nope? :O Come on, not even that????…. 😛
I find it rude to read someone’s bolg and leave ironic comments… In real life that would be like slapping the faces that you don’t like passing by you on the street or planting weeds in the front garden of your neighbour……
        Sorry D., I could not keep my mouth shut…. Enjoy the songs… 😀 😀 😀

      • Dugutigui dijo:

Hahahahaha… relax! You are an enfant terrible…
I’ve had many comments in this blog and never unapproved one. Everybody has the right to express their thoughts. It is true that some people pick at the food as delicately as a starved dingo, but I always respect their right to wear a mint-green polyester safari suit and will gladly run to the other end of the room to defend it. This could happen from time to time, but normally they mightn’t have much to say, but at least they don’t try to say anything else…
        So no drama, here…

Thanks for all the songs you are posting here, all them are great ones. I could do the same in your blog, but I don’t know how to embed the videos… 🙂

      • there is nothing to embed, just copy-paste the link in the comment space… whenever you visit my blog… and feel like it…
        hahaha… oui, je sais, enfant terrible…. 😀 😀 😀 😀 touchee!!!!
        now I shut up …. 😉

      • Dugutigui dijo:

        … and I don’t want to learn 🙂 🙂 🙂

  5. I am confused. I only understand my own head. What is this ponzi scheme?

    1. I am just a poet, and I am covered in tattoos.
    2. I do not care about any award I have ever won.
    3. I only speak English, despite trying (for years) to learn Spanish and German.
    4. I was a teenage welfare mama.
    5. My legal name is something different.
    6. I do not like fried food.
    7. I am just a poet, but I work with severely abused children for a pay check.

    here is one extra

    8. I hate commercialism and capitalism. I think money is useless and stupid.

Now what do I do? Do I link you on my blogroll?

    • Dugutigui dijo:

This thing is just a new blogofashion… so you do not need to do anything, unless you want… If you do, you just have to post in your blog something similar to my post, with your own options and communicate with the people you nominate…
Seriously this is a big BS that is only making you to lose your precious time…
Anyhow, I nominated you because you are among the best blogsgers I ever visited, and that is the only good part of this scheme…

For Ponzi scheme, you better try Google, is a bit long to be explained here… 🙂

  6. Madhu dijo:

Love that image of you with all the medals! The multiplying by 3 is a great idea! Just might borrow that 🙂

    • Dugutigui dijo:

I do not think much on private property … and less on my blog … so you can borrow anything you wish … you’re most welcome 🙂 I’m in this movie to share and enjoy myself, expecting nothing, absolutely nothing, in return, and in your case, your comments go far beyond of any reward!

  7. And Mr. dugutigui gets award for most awkward yet… sophisticated yet… interesting yet… etc blogs… congratulations my bratha from anatha matha!

  8. Brigitte dijo:

    Congrats! Blog on….! :).

  9. My Brother

Thanks so much for the nomination. It means alot that you think my blog is one of the best out there. You know i think the world of yours as well. Yours, the Educated Dummy’s Simple Thoughts, and myself are like the Big three on campus. We’re the cool kids and everyone one just needs to catch up.

Thanks again for the nod. It means alot.

  10. sweetoothjames dijo:

I liked the picture of the eastern guys in their uniforms. Did they win ALL of those medals at table-tennis..?
