puzzy stock dropping – (en)

Our firm is looking with dismay the possible dismantling of a business as old, some may say, as humanity. Investors are wondering why the stock PUZZY (PZY –Nasdaq GS) keeps dropping despite the extraordinary campaign to praise it, in which we should include an overlapping support from institutions as strong as the church -despite they are supposed to have little knowledge on the subject.
Looking back, if history could tell us something, we are seeing here a financial instrument that was originally quite cheap until the launch of a massive advertising campaign sponsored by Judeo-Christian-related lobbies some 2000 years ago, after which we witness constant grow that lasted until well entered the XX century, making possible what is today a huge several billion revenue company.
Intelligent investors assumed that its amazing growth rate couldn’t continue indefinitely. They were the least. In fact this stock was the preferred long term investment of Baby Boomers who saved diligently to prepare for retirement and may lose their golden years to a possible investor fraud. As those who invested in Worldcom or worked at Enron, they know today that things are not always as they seem.
Part of the weakness is obviously the result of overall market weakness, but other factors should be considered.
Here’s our sense of them:
Stock overheating:
After I & II World Wars, producers were not able to make enough goods to meet rising demand, and instead raised prices disproportionately. Inflation was accompanied by quality lowering, especially from the 60’s with fewer functions, some dysfunctions and more consumption, and the appearance of modified products from the 80’s equally satisfactory for more liberal customers which blurred the original product exclusivity. Today’s supply clearly surpasses current demand so prices continue to plummet.
Foreign competition:
Importation of similar goods produced in developing countries wasn’t seen as a problem in its day. The alleged low quality and unreliability made these goods were considered an “exotic” investment, but not real competition to the respective national equivalents. That was clearly a wrong approach. Today we are seeing in the market many high quality foreign products with a, moreover, extremely easy handling and much cheaper maintenance, at least in principle.
Product disadvantages: Maintenance, repairing and disposal:
This has been a product with pricey maintenance throughout its history which has grown exponentially over the past 60 years. On the top of that, repairing is very expensive and not always a feasible option and disposal, due new ecological regulations, is forbidden.
Conclusion:
For those of you, long term investors that heavily invested several years back in this stock, perspectives are bleak. To sell your stocks now could be translated in heavy losses that could put you permanently out of market. So our advice is to covertly diversify your portfolio, if any cash is left in your pocket after this misguided investment.
For new investors, beware of these stocks in the long term. Nevertheless short selling could be a good option, provided it would enables you to benefit from a fall in the stocks share price. And this particular one is in free fall.

Puzzy stock dropping – Dugutigui

Acerca de Dugutigui

In the “Diula” language in Mali, the term « dugutigui » (chief of the village), literally translated, means: «owner of the village»; «dugu» means village and «tigui», owner. Probably the term is the result of the contraction of «dugu kuntigui» (literally: chief of the village).

I thought if I was going to publish this it would rain blows on me… so I was thinking to close the office for a couple of years… 🙂
Thanks for the comment ! Eres única… 🙂

You are such a naughty boy! Didn’t anyone tell you you should be nice to all the old ladies? Me included! Anyway, I have a surprise for you below:

About a month ago, I switched from blogging on Blogger.com to WordPress.com. The change has been remarkable. The readers on WordPress are far more interactive than those on Blogger. I feel welcomed into the new WordPress community.

In that vein, a real sweetheart made my day, by nominating me for The Versatile Blogger Award. A “shout out” and thank you to Turber of http://looserornot.wordpress.com/ for the nomination.

Now, I am nominating YOU! You have been one of the bloggers who has welcomed me, so this is my way of thanking you.

On March 20, I will post your site on my blog as a nominee for the Versatile Blogger Award. Please read the post that day to find out all the details. There is a nice award .jpeg you can add to your site.

    • Dugutigui dijo:

Today is March 20, and I am glad you make me participant in this Ponzi scheme… I know, very clearly, that you do with all your heart and as your twisted soul blogofriend I am obliged to accept this kind of reward… but let’s save the part in which I am honored and so and so… 🙂 thank you very much for having me in such high esteem … something you look where you want to look and I do not deserve it…
And congrats to you for your more deserved award 🙂

Instead of getting married again, I’m going to find a woman I don’t like and just give her a house… I’m not that twisted 🙂 Really!
Thanks for visiting and come back, the beating will continue until morale improves 🙂

  4. I never thought one could have a perfect balance of naughtiness (without being ribald) and wit until I read this post. Will watch out for more (naughty ones or otherwise).

    • Dugutigui dijo:

      Sorry. Is that a compliment???
You know, relationships are hard. It’s like a full time job, and we should treat it like one. If your boyfriend or girlfriend wants to leave you, they should give you two weeks’ notice. There should be severance pay, and before they leave you, they should have to find you a temp…
Hahaha, thanks a lot for passing here… and if you check around you will find some dirty ones 🙂

      • Of course I mean it as a compliment. I’ve already gone over a few posts, even the comments, even if I have to struggle through the Spanish. I have not yet run into the dirty ones. Let’s say I’ll save the best for last, ha ha

      • Dugutigui dijo:

        Clear now 🙂
Okidoki, try this one… not dirty but I’m proud of it, I mean too too much work…:

        🙂

      • Aaaaw, I stopped on that part about young girls in the Philippines having sex in exchange for cash. That hurt! Will continue reading after mopping the floors wet with my tears.

      • Dugutigui dijo:

        Hey! Don’t take personally… just funky… hahahaha 🙂

      • I was kidding! I finished the post. Brilliant! I love Malta by the way. And you’re right about having churches in every street corner. It was amazing to wake up in the morning with the pealing of the bells.

      • Dugutigui dijo:

I like Malta myself, but I’m not a religious man… I can envisage better ways to wake up 🙂
In any case I remember another gentle visitor from the heavens, he came in peace and then died, only to come back to life, and his name was E.T. I loved that little guy!!!

      • I was in grade five when ET was shown. Lovable creep, yup. I don’t know. I have this thing about church bells. In Aarhus which was dang cold, the bell from the cathedral two blocks away from my apartment would wake me up better than the alarm clock two inches beside me. Are there people actually living in Gozo and Comino? They look like lotus plants on a pond.

      • Dugutigui dijo:

Well, that’s young 🙂 I just finished the University with that stranded extraterrestrial.
I know Denmark, but not Aarhus, and yes as all the north of Europe is where you can expire with cold most of the year. Have you ever heard of hypothermia? I think that, after a childhood and youth in the north of Spain, never again feel comfortable in a place where you can croak simply going to get the post. Living in an area where leaving a window open can mean the collective suicide of a family, feels pretty stupid now.
Gozo and Comino? Yes, islands with flag, president, anthem, flora, fauna … and even with people! … I think 🙂

      • I’m bad with Math so I won’t even venture guessing your age. Well Aarhus isn’t as touristy as Copenhagen but it’s pretty close to interesting places like Billund (for Legoland, ha ha) and a short drive from Aarhus should be pretty close to Malmo (for the night life, aha!).The weather in Denmark was crazy. Once I went out to buy groceries at Fotex, it was sunny. When I got out, it snowed. But I guess my worse ‘hypothermia’ was in Morocco, would you believe. I was in Essaouira in this house by the sea owned by a couple from Dresden (the brochure says it’s got a view of Morocco’s French Riviera). I went out to go to the market. It was freaking cold I thought I’d die of embarrassment dying from ‘frostbite’ without snow.

      • Dugutigui dijo:

Hahaha, that should be embarrassing… in any case as a person that has crossed the Sahara 7 times from north Mauritania to Morocco, I know very well what your speaking about… Like its many landscapes, Morocco has varying degrees of temperatures at different times of the year. If you are ever wondering about the weather in Morocco, remember this mantra: “Morocco is a cold land with a hot sun” 🙂

      • Very interesting. I didn’t stay there long but Morocco’s got this huge influence on me. I’m designing my husband new office and guess what – it’s got an enfilade of Moroccan arches. Marrakech, Fes, Rabat and Casablanca were all scorching in April. Essaouira, the boatyard, the al fresco by the forts were something else. Along with the hot sun, the people were warm too! (P.S. I like that you are nice to a newbie blogger like me. Thanks!)

      • Dugutigui dijo:

Morocco, all the strange new customs…kissing three times when you meet someone; the strange language…Moroccan Arabic is even different from classic Arabic!; the strange food…pigeon pie and camel’s milk? Well at least the mint tea was yummy… No, really I like Morocco very much.
And I’m not nice to the blogger newbie or not, but the person and from your comments I could say you are not newbie to the world… 🙂

      • Now, that’s what I call a stupendous compliment! Muchisimas gracias! Oh well, I stuck to traditional couscous and tajine, ha ha and the mint tea, you’re right was yummy. My regret is that I never had the chance to live in a tent Bedouin style and have a camel ride in Ouarzazate. I finally did it, of all places, in India.

      • Dugutigui dijo:

Yeah, couscous and tajine are nice!
Neither I did… to live in a Kaddafi tent 🙂 but sleeping under or inside the pic-up 🙂 Hahaha, sorry I’m not that sophisticated …

      • Hey, you’re still there. I’m not a fancy traveler either. I’m in between the backpacker-hotel dwelling type. I actually tried sleeping in the train station in Marrakech for Casabalanca – train runs at 5AM but I couldn’t get a wink because of the noise – about all of the one thousand men just loved to chatter – altogether at the same time. For a time, coming back from Morocco I would try to make one of those Kasbah couscous in a box. It was never quite close to the real thing. Sigh! Any other post you’d like to recommend? I think having had these exchanges with you, I can take anything now, ha ha

      • Dugutigui dijo:

        Hahaha, you are too nice…

Often overused by people whose minds do not have the mental capacity, or cannot be expected, to think of something for themselves.: I dunno!

NOTE: Never say «dunno» when you have been kidnapped by a bunch of bearded and smoking thugs. You can promptly expect a hard kick in the balls 🙂

        I dunno… maybe https://damantigui.wordpress.com/2012/02/22/waiting-at-the-bus-stop-re-enes/

      • Oh that one I already read. Now, you’re the one being nice by suggesting a very safe choice. I ‘dunno’ how you feel about Italian men but a friend of mind loves to tell the story of how back in college, he would lean on a lamp post for two weeks to have a good view of the extraordinarily captivating signorina helping her father in their daily routine in the shop. Then, he did something stupid, his words. He decided to give her a bunch of roses. When he was about to, in that fleeting moment right by the bakeshop door, he felt the passion was gone. I felt the same way about Taj Mahal. Some moments are too precious, some monuments too grandiose, some things so beautiful they are best kept and seen from a distance to keep the magic.

      • Dugutigui dijo:

        That’s deep…
Re Italian men we have a saying: If someone robs your house and you want to know if it was an Italian, just check if the toilet seat is lifted and the cat pregnant…:)
        OK that’s not a fair stereotype…

I also think in the same line, but I believe this is more a problem for us than a virtue… It is a collector’s problem… Thanks Whoever, not everybody is a collector … at least at such heights…

    • Dugutigui dijo:

A study in the Washington Post says that women have better verbal skills than men. I just want to say to the authors of that study: «Duh!
You know, I always use tasteful words. I may have to eat them… 🙂 Hahahaha
Some time here using WordPress with quite gall has given birth to a strange fruit. There are some people convinced that a post can be only originally mine, if it is seasoned with some loud profanities. I’m not evil spoken. On the contrary. I rarely sneak an obscene lexeme during a conversation. A civilized one, I mean.
Thanks a lot for coming around… you could also find some dirty ones around 🙂

  6. Richie dijo:

That’s a very eloquent way of explaining it.. now I can say with confidence I understand how the stock market works. Awesome! 🙂

    • Dugutigui dijo:

Good for you … I have not yet the slightest idea… 🙂
On other hand please read the disclaimer … and don’t go into to prosecuting me in the future 🙂

  7. NC Coot dijo:

Particularly savvy, this. You have a exceptionally ‘readable’ style and a fantastic point of view. I’m enjoying your whole blog.

    • Dugutigui dijo:

Coming from you this is somehow an award… probably my funky writing is the product of not writing in my mother tongue: Spanish… much to learn in your exquisite blog. Thanks a lot for this comment going straight to my ego 🙂

      • NC Coot dijo:

That’s fascinating! I didn’t realize English was your second language. But as such, you have a real clarity. And you don’t take you reader for granted. You stay one step ahead, if that makes sense, and challenge us to keep up. Really, really fine stuff here.

      • Dugutigui dijo:

        Well, thank you very much!
What else I can say that doesn’t look lame…
        Maybe: Amen? 🙂
        Thanks a lot again!
